The inimitable rush of untamed terrain – gorges, valleys, forests and swirling, swollen and frothing white water: that’s what the Kali Adventure Camp at Dandeli is about. A sprawling bungalow on the banks of the majestic Kali River, this wilderness camp is all about making a connection with nature. Take a walk down the wild side and discover just how invigorating it can be. Discover the sheer adrenalin rush of being alive.
EXPERIANCE
The JLR Kali Adventure Camp is the destination for adventure as well as nature lovers. A perfect spot for whitewater rafting, the camp is specially equipped for it. During the rafting strict safety standards are adhered to. We’ve perfected our standing as a whitewater rafting destination with river guides who are highly experienced and are well-equipped. Other activities include Kayaking, Coracle Ride, Bird Watching, Nature Walk, Wild Safari,Sight Seeing activities etc. The River Kali is a temperamental one. It dominates the hills, the forests and all that it ribbons through. While one side you can opt for a coracle ride, dodging crocodiles and watching birds, the other side involves battling swift currents in rubber dinghy, heart in mouth and oar in hand. The River Kali is far from tame, quite clearly! The Kali Tiger Reserve is home to the elusive black panther. Our guests are taken on jeep safaris into the Reserve. Spotted Deer, gaur, sloth bear, barking deer, hornbills, yellow-footed pigeon, peafowl and the crested serpent eagle are often sighted. If you’re quiet, you’ll spot even more. Enjoy the evening nursing a spirit of your choice : the camp has a well-stocked bar. Primarily Indian cuisine is served at dinners, which happens at the Gol Ghar. But upon request, Chinese or Continental dishes can be served.

Itinerary
Day 1
Check in . Settle down and freshen up
Treat yourself to a sumptuous lunch at the Gol Ghar
Gear up for a ride into the Park with tea/ coffee served.
Our naturalists take you on a wildlife Safari in Vehicle in to the Kali Tiger Reserve / Coracle Ride in Kali River showing & sharing their experiences and information about the jungle and all the animals that live there.
Tea/ coffee served at the Gol Ghar.
Watch a wildlife movie at the Conference Hall.
Bask in the warmth of the campfire, while you dine in the Gol Ghar, exchanging tales of the jungle with the other guests and our staff.
Day 2
Wake up call. A cup of tea or coffee.
Our naturalists take you on a Nature walk / Bird watching showing & sharing their experiences and information about the jungle and all the animals that live there.
Breakfast back at the camp
Coracle Ride.
If you must leave, we look forward to your next visit – the river has many facets. All very exciting. ? For those interested in whitewater rafting, we suggest spending the morning of the second day in this activity. Or better still, stay yet another night and enjoy the destination to its fullest.

- All request for cancellation of confirmed booking have to be received through email or in writing if booked at our office in Mumbai.
- 10% of the tariff, if cancelled two or more than two weeks before check in date/time.
- 50% of the tariff, if cancelled between 48hours to two weeks before check in date/time.
- No refund if cancelled less than 48hours before check in date/time.
- One postponement / Preponement is free if requested two or more than two weeks before check in date/time (Once postponed /preponed there is no further change or cancellation).
- 10% of the tariff, if requested between 48hours to two weeks before check in date/time.
- 50% of the tariff, if requested within 24hours to 48 hours before check in date/time.
- No modification, if requested within 24 hours to check in.
Travel Tips
- Dress for comfort. Do avoid bright colours and stick to muted shades of green, black, grey and brown. The more you meld with the background, the better.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes.
- Avoid smoking – anything can start a forest fire.
- You’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors. Don’t forget your hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, torch, etc.
- Avoid plastics. We’re really trying to cut down on plastics.
- PETS ARE STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED
- Since there is a connectivity issue, no electronic payment is possible and only cash payment is accepted.
